The SPIA terminal declared force majeure, a declaration accompanied by the interruption of normal activities and <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1520\" src=\"https:\/\/e-craft.com\/validacao\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/craft-screen-shot-2021-05-27-at-8.53.14-pm.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"171\" height=\"293\" \/>operation exclusively in the form of cabotage,\u201d says the general manager of Craft Colombia, Adriana Cardenas <strong>(foto)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roads are blocked<\/strong>, so, not only the removal of equipment at ports is affected, but also the return of empty units. \u201cOur daily job is to speak to terminals and ocean carriers in order to have a clear view of current scnenarios and decisions that are being made, which impact our customers\u201d, says Adriana.<\/p>\n<p>According to the general manager of Craft Colombia, with the crisis, the <strong>costs associated with LCL and FCL have increased<\/strong> and an <strong>alternative route to reach Colombia<\/strong>, via the Atlantic Coast, has been necessary.
