Covid-19: Craft status in October
In a scenario still marked by the presence of covid-19, Craft gradually resumes its face-to-face operations. There is no hurry, because remote work is successful in all locations, and the well-being of teams is our priority.
Thus, Chile, Paraguay and Bolivia are still working remotely, while Argentina sees the government adopting the first quarantine easing measures.
South America, ports, airports and customs remain active, many with the introduction of digital resources. Foreign trade does not stop.
Brazil: 96% of the team works at home, in São Paulo, a state that is gradually reopening, and in other parts of the country. Ports, airports, terminals and customs have reduced hours, but without difficulties in dispatches
Argentina: the team works on a rotation basis, always with people in the office. Country remains in quarantine in major cities, now with partial relief for shopping malls, open-air restaurants, open-air gatherings, with strict sanitary measures
Bolivia: team in remote work, 100% operational during normal hours, while the country goes into dynamic quarantine. Ports, airports and borders with continuous schedule
Chile: all in remote work, indefinitely. Ports, terminals, airports and customs remain operational and foreign trade continues as normal — shipments flow. Aduana works electronically. Most customers and competitors operate remotely, the “new norm”
Colombia: 29% of the team return to the office, at the national level. Buenaventura and Cartagena offices: 67% of the team, with flexible hours, as well as the airport. Medellín: 100%, with flexible hours. Craft Colombia headquarters in Bogotá: around 11%
Ecuador: the team works in the office on a rotating basis. Since September 13, Guayaquil has eased restrictions. Ports and airports operate on a regular schedule, alternating with teleworking, as well as companies in general
Paraguay: remote work until further notice, 100% operational team. Face-to-face assistance for documents twice a week. Port and customs terminals with reduced staff and standardized schedules, without delays. Friendship Bridge open. Passenger flights enabled from October 21 for some airlines
Peru: 85% of the team at home, with no expected return to the office, with small teams present in the office from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 1pm. Ports and terminals operate, as does the airport’s Talma terminal
Uruguay: the team has been divided into two groups, which take turns weekly in the office, under strict compliance with health measures, non-agglomeration and social distance. Port, airport and customs operate under the new normal
