In this page you will find the Terms and Conditions for FCL Transport provided by Craft.
Import - USA
Please confirm acceptance of quote/rate sheet in return of this email so we can file the rates in your/our tariff.
All rates are based on general cargo, unless otherwise specified (and quotes are valid for cargoes with commercial value not exceeding USD 250,000 – in case it exceeds, Latin Pro needs to be informed properly for revalidation with carriers).
AES Transmission: – AES USD 90 / Shipper (if needed)
- All rates are valid for 30 days, and Intermodal Rates are valid for 10 days from quote date (Unless otherwise specified by Latin Pro).
- Tanker Endorsement USD 300 (Valor deve ser somado somente se for carga LÍQUIDA em tambor ou IBC).
- The applicability of the rate(s) is limited to bookings that are placed under the ocean carrier and routing as specified in this quote.
- Rates will be subject to change if the ocean carrier does not receive cargo by the validity date of the rate quote.
- Procurement Fee: USD 40 per Container.
- Handling Fee (if Latin Pro is designated to coordinate the shipment): USD 30 per 20’ container & USD 50 per 40’ container (all types).
- BL Fee USD 50/BL.
- Scale Fee USD 100 / Container (only for POL Port Everglades)
- Gate Charge USD 70 / Container (only for POL Oakland)
- Pier Pass (only for Los Angeles / Long Beach): USD 125 X 20’, USD 180 X 40’SD/HC + locals at POD
- Latin Pro will charge USD 40 per BL to expedite the originals by courier, should this service be required.
- The applicability of the rate(s) is limited to bookings that are placed under the ocean carrier and routing as specified in this quote.
- Rates will be subject to change if the ocean carrier does not receive cargo by the validity date of the rate quote.
Transportation if required:
- Congestion fee at GCT (Global Container Terminal) NYC: USD 225 / Container
- Toll Fee at GCT (Global Container Terminal) NYC: USD 280 / Container
- Chassis rental is USD 110/day per container, there is 2 days included (minimum);
- Trucking cost may vary due to trucking availability;
- Subject to redelivery and storage fees due to congestion at terminals and ramps;
- Subject to per diem fees due to congestion at terminals and ramps;
- If carrier’s considers a different terminal, Latin Pro will not be responsible for any extra cost;
- Pickup/delivery dates are subject to change based on trucker availability;
- Clean Truck Fee: USD 150 / Container (When sailing port is Los Angeles / Long Beach ports);
- Pre-Pull: to be confirmed once cargo is booked;
- Port Congestion Fee: USD 200 / Container per hour after 02 hours free;
- Free time for loading/unloading: 1 hour free, USD 125 per hour thereafter;
- Cancellation fee USD 250.00 – If shipment is cancelled after booking confirmation.
Subject to:
- General Rate Increases
- Trucker and equipment availability;
- Chassis split fee if the Shipping Line do not provide the chassis at the depot, USD 150.00 / Container per split if applicable;
- Congestion fees on rails/terminals;
- Commodities are subject to carrier’s approval;
- As per Hapag’s new policy, a Booking Roll Over will be applied to:
- Shipments with container activity that are missing any of the following: shipping instructions, dangerous cargo declaration, customs information (AES/ITN).
- Shipments identified with a partial gate-in container activity. In this case, the booking will be split to allow loading those containers at the terminal onto the booked vessel. The remaining units will be rolled to the next available vessel.
A Booking Cancelation will be in place for:
- No container activity and missed cutoffs (Shipping Instructions/Dangerous Goods/Port/Rail)
- Merchant Haulage port shipments, with no container activity, 48 hours before FCL cutoff
Cargo weight restriction:
- 20 ft dry cargo – Cargo exceeding 36,000 lbs. (16,330 kg) and up to 44,000 lbs. (19,958 kg) are subject to tri-axle costs.
- 40 ft dry – Cargo exceeding 44,000 lbs. (19,958 kg) are allowed on the roads in states where overweight permits are issued and subject to tri-axle costs.
- 40 ft high cube – Cargo exceeding 43,700 lbs. (19,822 kg) are allowed on the roads in states where overweight permits are issued and subject to tri-axle costs.
** 40ft overweight permit: maximum allowed weight and additional fees vary by state.
Without limiting the foregoing, customer shall be responsible for all demurrage, detention and storage charges, expenses and fees charged at the destination of the shipment with respect to Customer’s shipments, storage of shipments and/or use of containers and equipment, not otherwise specifically addressed in any future freight or shipping documentation entered into between Customer and Principal, whether imposed on Customer, Principal or Principal’s agents; provided that Principal and/or Principal’s agents are not primarily responsible for the imposition of such demurrage, detention or additional storage charges, expenses or fees.
